This term is generally accepted for the family of superabrasives
grains finer than 60/80 mesh.
This diamond family offers a wide range of diamond products presenting
a variety of properties and characteristics in order to meet any specific
needs.
Speaking about their physical properties,
these products offer the hardest,
toughest, most abrasion resistant,
and most thermally stable diamond
known. It is therefore not surprising
to encounter such high quality diamonds
in many different applications,
such as in working of glass, crystal,
fiberglass, ceramic (i.e. grinding,
drilling, edging or bevelling), as
well as in polishing stones.
